Création Baumann is involved in the exhibition «Circle of Water. Textilien im Fluss» at the Textile Museum St. Gallen.

Création Baumann is supporting the exhibition «Circle of Water. Textilien im Fluss» at the Textile Museum St. Gallen. The exhibition, which runs from 8 November 2024 to 21 April 2025, focuses on the sustainable production of swimwear and outdoor fashion.
Compostable outdoor jackets, swimming trunks made from PET bottles and swimming aids made from cotton will be presented in a scenography created with the help of CRÉATION BAUMANN. CRÉATION BAUMANN gives fabrics that are no longer for sale a new use and thus actively contributes to the circular economy.

Focus on sustainability and textile innovation

The exhibition focusses on sustainable textiles and innovative design solutions that promote the careful use of natural resources. It shows how textiles for water and outdoor activities can be designed to be more environmentally friendly. We are supporting this project by providing high-quality fabrics from leftover stock, which find a new meaning in the scenography of the exhibition.

The use of these out-of-stock materials reflects our commitment to the circular economy. Our fabrics form integral elements of the design concept and help to bring the circular idea to life both visually and haptically. Through the creative use of fabrics from remnants, we promote the sustainable design of exhibition spaces that offer visitors not only aesthetic but also awareness-raising experiences.

Our CEO, Philippe Baumann, takes part in an exciting museum talk! Together with Urs Schellenberg, CEO of E. Schellenberg Textildruck and Dr. Fabian Takacs, Head of the Circular Labs at the University of St. Gallen, he discusses the implementation of sustainability and the circular economy in the textile industry.
