Starting point:
There were two key challenges in the Hermann Schuhe und Mode administration building: firstly, the acoustics in the consultation and showrooms needed to be optimised so that noise levels and sound reflections did not impair the quality of conversations. Secondly, effective glare protection was required for the large windows in order to reduce annoying light reflections and heat influences without restricting visibility.

Solution:
The room acoustics were specifically improved through the use of several textile solutions. The ceiling surfaces were lined with ACOUSTIC FIBER CEILING, which significantly optimised the sound atmosphere in the open-plan rooms. ACOUSTIC ROOM DIVIDER with ALEX upholstery was also used. These were cleverly attached to the back of the wooden elements on which the products are displayed.
SHELTER was used for glare protection on the windows. The fabric not only provides privacy and glare protection, but also reduces heat and UV radiation. This solution increases room comfort without compromising the transparency and visual appearance of the exterior façade.
