New Bachtal school building – Ennetbaden

Starting Point
The challenge in the Bachtal school building was to find textile solutions that fulfil both functional and design requirements. The curtain fabric used had to make a targeted contribution to acoustic optimisation, provide effective privacy protection and at the same time blend in harmoniously with the colour concept of the room.

Solution
The curtain fabric UMBRIA was used as it fulfils the required sound insulation values and also offers reliable privacy protection. Chosen in a complementary colour to the existing interior design, the fabric also makes a visual statement – and gives the room structure and atmosphere.
The SHADOW MEDIUM glare and heat protection fabric was also used. The aluminium-metallised, semi-transparent fabric provides effective sun and glare protection and enables targeted light regulation – ideal for everyday school life and the requirements of public spaces.
