Starting Point
This NTT Urban Solutions office is located in the building in front of JR Akihabara Station in Tokyo. Around 100 people had to find suitable workspace on a spacious floor of approximately 1,000 square meters. The goal was to create an office that supports urban development and embodies the NTT Group brand image while allowing employees to practice a variety of work styles.
Solution
The expansive floor, stretching from east to west, has been cleverly zoned to create diverse work areas and tranquil quiet zones. Three main areas allow employees to choose their workspace flexibly. The MEGACOUSTIC fabric was used to partition the spaces: Its sound-absorbing capability and moderate transparency make it well-suited in terms of both function and design. In a photography studio, partitioned by glass walls, DIMMER was used as a light-blocking and sound-absorbing curtain.
