Starting Point

Two autonomous structures are connected by a single-storey connecting structure. To underscore the ensemble character of the retirement apartments and nursing home, a single choice of materials is proposed for both buildings. Bright limestone concrete surfaces stand in colourful contrast to the dark windows and colourful curtains.

Solution

Transparent curtains for protecting privacy and thick curtains for colourful accentuation can be found in all public areas of the retirement home. These have an extremely good visual presence, but also attest to outstanding quality in everyday use.
