In collaboration with the Department of Technology & Architecture at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, we have developed simulation software that calculates the effective decibel reduction for each textile combination.

The ACOUSTIC DIVIDER VARIO offers a wide range of design options: you can choose from plain fabrics and patterns in various colours and qualities that can be combined for the inside and outside. This allows you to tailor the acoustic curtain system to your individual room concept.

• Outer layers: High-quality acoustic fabrics, tested in a reverberation chamber, absorb disruptive sound waves.
• Inner layer: Depending on the design, NoiseSilencer reduces noise by 11–16 dB, while NoiseBlocker can even reduce the noise level between two areas by up to 23 dB.

• Sound absorption describes the ability of materials to absorb sound or convert the sound energy that occurs into other forms of energy. Sound absorption is the effect of sound absorbers.
• Sound insulation refers to the restriction of sound propagation by room boundaries. Sound insulation is therefore a measure for the acoustic separation of sub-areas in a room.

The sound absorption coefficient α of a material indicates how much of the total incident sound is absorbed. α = 0 means that no absorption takes place and all incident sound is reflected. At α = 0.5, 50% of the sound energy is absorbed and 50% is reflected. At α = 1, all incident sound is absorbed and there is no reflection.

Our acoustic fabrics are tested for sound absorption in a reverberation chamber in accordance with DIN ISO 354/ISO 11654 and precisely recorded. All reports are available for download on our website for each product.
