Starting Point
Park Modern in London sets a new benchmark for luxury residential developments in the heart of the city. Comprising 55 residences, including three penthouses, it seamlessly blends the refined architecture of its prestigious neighborhood with the natural beauty of the nearby Hyde Park. The building offers an array of exclusive amenities, including a wellness area, a private cinema, and access to a private restaurant service. For the entrance and interior spaces, a sophisticated design was sought, with a particular focus on material selection and ambiance.

Solution
Création Baumann was commissioned by the designers at Fenton Whelan to provide luxurious, transparent fabrics for the main lobby. The choice fell on PYRIT, whose metallic character complements the marble floors while adding a soft, elegant texture to the space. It creates a balance between opulence, privacy, and transparency, further enhancing the striking aesthetic of the entrance area.
In addition to PYRIT, the semi-transparent curtain fabric BLUES and the transparent SERENO were also used, contributing to a refined atmosphere in several show apartments. SERENO impresses with its fine, slightly irregular striping, reminiscent of high-quality silk crêpe georgette. Its soft drape and subtly textured feel add an understated elegance to the rooms. BLUES, on the other hand, stands out with its relief-like structure and naturally sophisticated semi-transparent look.
The combination of these high-quality textiles creates a perfect balance of light, texture, and atmosphere—a harmonious interplay of transparency and luxurious comfort.
