Architecture Dialogues Basel – Making of

MAKING OF – the Architektur Dialoge event series provides an insight into production and craftsmanship in the Basel region.
Using a specific object that architects and designers have developed together with a company, the production and its possibilities will be illustrated directly on site.

The event will take place at ALBA HAUS, the architects are Herzog & de Meuron. HERZOG & DE MEURON and KREN ARCHITEKTUR have designed the ground floor and the office area on the first floor as an open meeting place with textiles. High-quality leftover fabrics from CRÉATION BAUMANN in Langenthal were used for this. Birgit Roller and her team from CASA TESSUTI have beautifully staged the textiles as canopies, room dividers, drapes and other textile structures.
