Starting Point
The Institut français is part of a worldwide network for the promotion of the French language and culture and supports intercultural exchange.
Founded in 1910, the Institut français du Royaume-Uni has a language centre, a cinema, a media library, a children’s library and a café-restaurant and welcomes 200,000 guests a year.

Solution
For the renovation of the main entrance hall, the designers at McFarlane Latter sought a textile solution that would provide privacy while maintaining transparency.
The SONOR III curtain fabric creates a soft, inviting atmosphere with its linen-like appearance and natural colour palette. The combination of the curtain fabric with the Pantric panel curtain system with SONOR III 0321 and 0223 and the Rolltric manual roller blind system with SONOR III R  7321 combines design with technical sophistication.
