Premiumlounge, Stadion St. Jakob Park – Basel

Starting Point

The redesign of the Premium Lounge of FC Basel in the St. Jakob Park stadium provides for a completely new interior and food concept. Large-scale, haptic materials convey value and emotion to the guests. The strip-shaped cladding of the walls in concrete, brass and colored glass creates a play of shine, reflection and rough surfaces.

Solution

Heavy textile curtains visually break up the strict, horizontal layering of materials along the walls and significantly improve the room acoustics.

A Cooking Lounge was also planned on the access level to complement the gastronomic offerings in the stadium. The industrial-looking room with concrete floor, concrete columns and colored curtains was equipped with two large cooking stations.
