Starting Point
The renowned Pusadee’s Garden restaurant in Pittsburgh was faced with the challenge of redesigning its interior. The goal was to create an atmosphere that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional, especially in terms of acoustics and comfort. The designers at mossArchitects looked for materials that would meet these requirements while emphasising the restaurant’s identity.
Solution
Our SCHERZO curtain fabric was chosen for the window areas. Together with other products from our partner Carnegie, it was chosen for its natural linen look and the quality of its 100% Trevira CS material. Semi-transparent and soft to the touch, SCHERZO lends the room a warm, textured feel and forms a harmonious contrast to the industrial architectural elements.
The textile solution was complemented by CASA – a fabric developed exclusively for Carnegie by Création Baumann. With its fine, elegant structure and modern, wool-like appearance, CASA brings a timeless aesthetic and subtle sophistication to the room and blends seamlessly into the high-quality overall ambience.
