Longevity of the products
The production of textiles is an energy and resource-intensive process. The longer a product is used, the more efficiently these resources are utilised. Timeless design, materials and workmanship as well as use and care are important focal points.
Responsible production
In our laboratory, we carry out comprehensive tests on fabric samples to check their properties. This includes testing colours for environmental compatibility and examining the flammability of our products. These tests ensure that our materials meet the highest safety and environmental standards and make a sustainable contribution to conserving our resources.
Climate compatibility and energy consumption
Targeted reduction in energy and water consumption through continuous optimisation of our production processes – one example of this is the recovery of cooling water in the dyeing process. This has enabled us to reduce water consumption in the dyeing plant from over 400 litres per kilogramme of material in 2000 to around 90 litres per kilogramme. Thanks to our neutralisation plant, the waste water from production is even cleaner than domestic waste water.
In our laboratory, we extensively test our high-quality fabrics for flammability to ensure the highest safety and environmental standards.
