Acoustic Panels Recycled

ACOUSTIC ROOM DIVIDER RECYCLED and ACOUSTIC WALL COVER RECYCLED offer sustainable acoustic solutions made from recycled materials. They allow rooms to be flexibly structured and wall surfaces to be stylishly clad while improving the acoustic effect at the same time.

Focus on sustainability

Together with the Trevira brand and ALTEX Textil Recycling, we at Création Baumann have developed pioneering, recycled absorber panels for our acoustic panel range. The new variants, ACOUSTIC ROOM DIVIDER RECYCLED and ACOUSTIC WALL COVER RECYCLED, are a significant step towards promoting the circular economy. The acoustic panels with the new, sustainable absorber panel will be available from 2025.
The appreciation of textile resources and our consistent commitment to sustainable behaviour are firmly anchored in our corporate mission statement. With the recycling of leftover textiles and the introduction of the preconsumer recycling process, we are now taking another important step towards a resource-conserving future.

«As a textile manufacturer, we are aware that raw materials are not infinite and we value our textiles highly. Sustainability is a core value of our company.»
Philippe Baumann, CEO of Création Baumann

Sustainability, processed in Langenthal

The recycling process developed over several years makes it possible to collect and sort high-quality preconsumer textiles and production waste directly at our plant. These materials are then processed by Altex in a multi-stage process. This allows our durable and high-quality textiles to be pressed into stable sheets and returned to the textile cycle as a valuable resource. The absorber panels are cut to size at our plant in Langenthal and processed into our ACOUSTIC WALL COVER RECYCLED and ACOUSTIC ROOM DIVIDER RECYCLED products.

Innovative recycling process for sustainable acoustic solutions

The collaboration with Trevira ensures that the new absorber panels have a flame-retardant effect and also impress in classes A-C with their acoustic effectiveness. They therefore cover the same performance spectrum that characterises the existing panels in the range. The system comprises two panel thicknesses that offer different levels of absorption, from highly to extremely absorbent.
«With Trevira and Altex, we have established an innovative, ecologically sustainable recycling process that we are proud to present.»
