Starting Point
Boundary Shoreditch, located in East London within a converted Victorian warehouse is a distinctive establishment comprising a boutique hotel, two restaurants, a bar, and event spaces.  The rooftop houses the Rooftop Bar & Grill, offering stunning East London views year-round. The building was originally designed by Conran and Partners and has now been renovated by Mehrai Design.

Solution
The design team redesigned the rooms, integrated the hotel reception into the main bar and created raised seating and dining areas to make the most of the original building design. The innovative ACOUSTIC DIVIDER VARIO acoustic partition curtain was used for both visual and acoustic separation. With LANO on the outside and the delicate sheen of PHANTOM PLUS on the inside, an intimate and comfortable atmosphere has been created. Wireless motorised blinds with SCRELAN R were installed on the rooftop glass extension to minimise glare and heat. Mehrai Design paid particular attention to refined design details, creating a sumptuous bar with a private dining area. In the dining area, the upholstery fabric ALVAR contributes significantly to creating a cosy atmosphere.
