Starting Point
In the middle of Geneva’s famous Parc des Bastions, the eponymous café-restaurant that was once a magnet for city dwellers at music events has regained its glamour and vibrant energy. The historic building has been completely renovated by Studio Julia Christ and now boasts a modern interior that is as refined as it is inviting. A tribute to the Belle Époque!

Solution
With the aim of bringing this historic building back to life, Studio Julia Christ designed a spatial, functional and aesthetic upgrade based on the architect’s initial plans. With the aim of restoring the original symmetry, the studio first removed the glass house and then redesigned the interior to create different areas. Special fabrication was used to create a flowing room separation that captivates with its visual lightness.

The functionality of the SECRET blackout fabric also sustainably improves the room acoustics. The print was designed by Florencia Chedufau.
